By clicking on 'Checkout', you confirm that you accept our Terms of Service (see below); your subscription will automatically renew based on the subscription billing period. There will be no refunds once the account is active or renewals have been charged.
One reason that we have this policy is because we purchase your box contents once you place your order. There is a month in-between renewals and if it is not cancelled, those funds are put towards the next month's box.
Your credit card will AUTOMATICALLY be charged the subscription fee until you cancel your subscription.
If you are not granted a refund and you dispute this, review our terms of service that you agreed upon during checkout of the site. You will lose the dispute and be charged by us and additional $16 for the dispute fee (agreed upon by the card processor).
Renewals take place on the 15th of each month. When you make a purchase you are buying the following months box.
So if, for instance, you bought a subscription, then cancelled, you will not renew. If you do NOT cancel it, your account will be automatically charged each month until you do.
$35 a month+s/h or less depending on the subscription type. If there are boxes left after the month is over, you will not get subscriber prices. It will get put into the shop and the price will likely be higher.
If you have to go, then we understand! Canceling your account, as noted above, only cancels your RENEWAL. If you have already renewed or prepaid for a subscription, then you will still receive those boxes. Simply go to your account and edit your subscription (on the left side of the screen) and cancel or skip the renewal. If at that point you still cannot figure it out, just shoot us an email and we will be glad to help!
What is inside The Nocturnal Reader's Box?
We will always have AT LEAST TWO books. One new release, and one previously released title. You will always get a bookmark, and a custom art print that is only available in our box. They are not shiny glittery quotes...they are actual artworks that are commissioned per the theme each month. We will always have 7 or more items in the box per month. So far January-April have all had 8-11 items. This means that not only will you be getting more with our box, but you will be getting items that you can use and not pile in the closet for a time when you 'may' use them.
How does it work?
Each month we charge renewals on the 15th. Once you are subscribed, you wont have to worry about missing a box until you cancel. If you don't care for a theme, you can skip a renewal to the next month. We are approachable; if you need help we will do the best we can to help.
When do boxes ship?
Boxes will ship on the first week of every month. Boxes are presold to ensure the best possible count on our end so that we can make sure that we do not over or undersell a theme. We are committed to having boxes out on time EVERY SINGLE MONTH.
Example: If you make a purchase in April, you are buying a MAY BOX. This means that you box will ship during the first week of May. If you have not gotten a notification by the 7th of the month. LET US KNOW!
Where do we ship?
All over the world. The prices are varying and will calculate when you checkout once the ZIP/Country code is input. Not before that. all US shipping is a flat rate fee of $8.
